I’m an OCD computer user. Scratch that, I’m an anal retentive Mac user. Ever since I was in the third grade with a Mac LCII, trying to get by with a 256 MB hard drive, I have been nuts about organizing and customizing my mac systems.
As I’ve gotten older my need for this sort of thing has diminished, to the point where I was relying on the built-in OS X file structure as of Panther, and satisfying my OCD needs with icon and desktop replacements.
Now with Tiger, I find myself not replacing ANY of Apple’s built-in icons and so far I’ve been quite happy with the new array of desktop pictures they supplied.
Good job, Apple.
